We’re busy! We’ve got workshops to organise and a team of writers to keep busy. So we need someone who can help us keep on top of projects and support our new business drive. As you learn more about the writing business, you’ll be encouraged to start working on developing new business yourself.

In a nutshell, your job is to make sure everything in and out of the office runs smoothly. Making sure we hit deadlines, sales targets and appointments is going to be up to you.

What will you do?

Make sure everything runs smoothly

  • Workshop organisation and preparation
  • Manage writing projects
  • Diary management for our Creative Director
  • Travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Organising team activities and days out
  • Manage Eventbrite – our workshop ticketing software
  • Send direct mail to target different sectors

Help us build the business and look after clients

  • Gather insights for a range of sectors
  • Manage our CRM systems
  • Use Mailchimp, our email marketing programme
  • Build lists
  • Network at events to tell people what we do

What sort of person are we searching for?

Chances are you’re a recent graduate looking for a challenging role in sales and project management. You’ll need to be willing to learn and unafraid to share your ideas with the team.

You’ll be confident and outgoing, able to communicate clearly. And of course, extremely organised.

We’re a small team and so you need to be a self-starter, able to make decisions by yourself. And get along with people – there’s no place to hide!

What sort of skills do we want to see?

You need to be able to write well – we’re not expecting you to be a copywriter but you need an eye for wrods (and typos).

We use cloud-based software such as Highrise, Mailchimp and Eventbrite to market ourselves and arrange our training, so being confident with computers would be an advantage.

What’s in it for you?

We’ll train you to use the CRM system to keep on top of our clients, conversations and copywriting.

Our Business Developer will act as your mentor, showing you how to effectively gather insights to engage current and potential clients. Then you’ll learn the art of turning those conversations into cash.

We know that copywriting is a unique thing to sell. That’s why when you join us you’ll attend one of our open workshops to learn the tricks of the trade and find out what our world is all about. Once you’ve got the hang of the job, we’ll invest in more training to help build your skills.


£17000 – £20000 – dependent on experience
