Alfresco. Generating sales leads for global growth.

Alfresco is the world’s leading platform for business content management. Their open-source technology helps businesses run more effectively. But even with praise heaped on them from Gartner, Forrester, Forbes and other business luminaries, their emails weren’t generating the sales leads they wanted.

We worked with them to create a more collaborative, enabling tone of voice in the emails. And backed that up with a range of writing support from landing pages to white papers, social campaigns to sales email training.

What we did

  • We wrote sales emails and landing pages that worked together to generate sales leads.
  • We shifted the emphasis from their achievements to their ability to help customers. Turning Alfresco into an enabler rather than a corporate blaggart.
  • We polished the quality of their opinion pieces and white papers. Often written by technical experts, these documents benefitted from persuasive writing techniques to bring the intelligence alive.
  • We ran workshops to help the team develop a range of persuasive techniques they could use to generate more leads
  • We worked on tone with the team to create a more natural, but still intelligent, voice for the emails.

This was a great campaign for us – we’ve generated 1000 white paper downloads so far – and I really think the focus on not selling Alfresco, but the usefulness of the content assets that we agreed was the right way to go.
