We’re a copywriting agency that specialises in persuasive and compelling content that helps our clients get results.
We work with brands to define their proposition, write their copy, and create Tone of Voice programmes that give them a stronger identity. We’re Higher Education specialists and work for over 30 universities. We also help B2B companies in IT, law and consultancy to engage their clients more effectively.
As well as writing sparkling copy, we train people to write more creatively, persuasively, and productively through our Sharper Copywriting workshops and taster sessions.
We’re looking for someone to build on our success.
Due to sustained growth, and internal promotions, we’re looking for a client relations manager to identify new business opportunities, develop warm leads, and cultivate and care for our existing clients.
You’ll also be responsible for planning marketing campaigns and managing our marketing executive as part of your team.
What sort of person are we looking for?
You’ll have several years’ experience of successfully selling creative services, either in client-facing account management, or B2B sales roles, and have worked at a marketing agency. It’s essential you can communicate clearly, write well, and have an eye for wrods (and typos).
Ideally, you’ll have some experience of setting or managing other people’s workloads.
You’ll have a proven track record of developing business and be able to demonstrate how you’ve contributed to the success of your current agency.
We’re a small, friendly team of self-starters. You’ll make decisions for yourself, take ownership of your role and develop it to suit your skillset. You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team to support the strategic direction of the agency.
What will you do?
This is a varied role in which you will:
Research our client sectors to identify challenges and opportunities.
Develop leads gained from quarterly taster sessions (no cold calling).
Work with marketing to plan and delivery email nurture journeys.
Create proposals to respond to tender notices and new briefs.
Attend project scoping meetings and manage relevant projects.
Create and manage an account management process for lapsed clients.
Manage relationships with our existing clients and spot opportunities where they would benefit from more writing and training.
Work closely with our project manager to monitor project budgets.
Deliver work to meet achievable quarterly and annual financial targets.
Oversee internal marketing and, depending on experience, take on management duties.

£30 - £35k based on experience + bonus
