Sales & Project Management Administrator

We’re a small and friendly copywriting agency with an impressive list of clients. We create persuasive writing to help businesses, universities, charities, and institutes get results.

We’re grown quite a bit over the past 18 months and are now in need of an extra pair of hands. You’ll play a supporting role in developing client relations and generating new business, but we also need your help with a whole lot more including marketing, project management, and administrative tasks.

We want you to grow too, so we’ll invest in your development with training and on the job learning.

What are you selling?

We’re writing specialists. We help businesses get better value from the words they use. This could mean developing their tone of voice, writing more persuasive headlines, or creating compelling web copy. We also deliver workshops to help people be more confident and creative when writing for their companies.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting our Client Relations Manager to generate new business

  • Researching new organisations to find relevant contacts

  • Working towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the Client Relations Manager

  • Following up with past customers and cross-selling products

  • Creating LinkedIn posts and monitoring campaigns

  • Managing sales processes

  • Updating the CRM with client information

  • Supporting Project Manager including liaising with our clients

  • Providing operational admin support

  • Assisting Creative Director and our team of writers

Who you’ll need to be

  • Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English (words are what we sell)

  • Well versed in IT skills for example Microsoft Office and CRM systems

  • Have previous experience in a sales role, ideally B2B

  • Proficient at writing engaging emails to clients

  • Confident speaking to clients on the phone

  • Active user of Linked In

  • Looking to develop your sales, marketing, and account management skills

  • Outgoing and able to build rapport with people of all backgrounds – we support a wide range of clients

  • Target and detail orientated

  • Motivated to generate and organise your own workload

  • Enthusiastic about developing your own skills and helping the agency continue to grow

We’ll invest in your sales, marketing, and project management skills. You’ll be supported to develop your sales abilities and pitch our services. You’ll also attend our Sharper Copywriting workshop.

You’ll be involved in all elements of agency life including managing internal processes, external projects, and overseeing business development campaigns.

Your salary will depend on experience, but successes will be rewarded with posh lunches and yearly pay reviews.

Depending on experience - £19k - £22k per annum + quarterly bonus
